Carignan 2022

A deeply colored wine with soft tannins. Prominent aromas of black raspberry, pepper, vanilla and florals. ripe plum, herbs and smoked flavors.
Full-bodied, thick and balanced wine.
Grapes from a 30-year-old veteran vines from high-quality plots in the Mezkeret Batia area.
The wine was fermented on the skins for 3 weeks and then pressed and put into malolactic fermentation. It was then aged for 8 months in French and American oak barrels, some new and some old, to let the varietal character express itself.
This Carignan is excellently accompanied to cold meat and red sauce-based pastas
