Pet-nat is short for “Pétillant Naturel,” a French term for naturally sparkling wine. This particular Pet-Nat is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in Moshav Mata in the Judean Mountains at an altitude of 600 meters.
The wine was bottled towards the end of Its fermentation process, allowing it to complete the final stages of fermentation in the bottle, which gives it a cloudy appearance.
The wine is light, fruity, and fresh, with citrus notes and a hint of tropical fruit. It pairs wonderfully with cold appetizers and spicy dishes.
